Jerusha Lofland was homeschooled by extremists in Michigan, along with her 10 younger siblings. Her quest for truth led her first out of Bill Gothard’s IBLP cult, then away from Evangelicalism, then freed her from religion altogether. In this episode, Jerusha shares what it was like growing up in an extremist Christian household with very little freedom to explore the outside world - and what it was like to set herself free.
